The marketplace
LessonsToLinks connects golf students with independent coaches for in-person and remote lessons. Coaches are independent providers, not employees of LessonsToLinks. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment — the lesson itself is an agreement between the student and the coach.
Payments and payouts
When you book a paid lesson, you pay the lesson rate through our secure checkout. LessonsToLinks retains a 20% platform fee on lessons booked through the platform; the remaining 80% is paid out to the coach via Stripe. Lessons between a coach and their pre-existing clients carry no platform fee. Cancellation policy: you may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your lesson; cancellations inside 24 hours may incur the coach’s late-cancel fee. Coach accounts
Coaches must provide accurate information about their identity, credentials, and experience. Joining LessonsToLinks is free during the winter beta, and a coach is never billed for any paid plan without their explicit opt-in. Before a coach’s listing goes live, the coach accepts the Founding Coach Agreement, completes a third-party background check, and provides proof of liability insurance. We may suspend accounts that misrepresent credentials or violate these terms.
Student accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for showing up to lessons you book. Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions.
Reviews
Reviews may only be left for completed lessons you participated in. Reviews must be honest and must not contain abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content. We may screen, moderate, or remove reviews that are fraudulent or violate these standards.
Limitation of liability
LessonsToLinks provides the platform as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of lessons, or for disputes between students and coaches — though we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
